The most popular request in the field of fence construction is a fence made of chain-link mesh. The choice of this material is due to a large number of advantages, among which the most important are the affordable price and simple installation of the mesh fence.

In addition, such metal fences serve for a long time, do not require special care conditions and are very good at transmitting light and air masses. Most often, metal mesh for fencing is installed as the main material on fences in private territories.

Types of material for chain link fences

This material is used quite widely. It is used to make fences for summer cottages, vegetable gardens, parks, industrial facilities, etc. Metal mesh chain-link is offered to users in three types:

  • Non-galvanized. This black wire allows you to install a fence that will not last long outdoors. This type of fence is extremely cheap, but it quickly begins to rust when exposed to moisture.
  • Galvanized chain-link. This material is most widely used. It is made of the same wire as non-galvanized welded mesh, but is covered with a protective layer of zinc on top. Its difference lies in greater strength and attractive appearance.
  • Plasticized. Such a garden fence has a special polymer coating that prevents corrosion processes. Most often, manufacturers offer the mesh in blue and green colors, although yellow, white and red are also found.

The choice of materials is determined by the scope of application and the needs of users.

How to install a chain link fence

The installation process consists of several basic stages:

  • Marking the location of the mesh fence. For this, a rope is used to imitate a metal mesh fence and wooden sticks.
  • Soil preparation - garbage is removed and plants are weeded out.
  • Digging holes with a drill. Their depth can be 50-80 cm depending on the type of soil. When installing wooden posts for the fence, they must be treated in advance with an antiseptic and waterproofing agents.
  • Installation of posts. At the beginning, corner structures are installed that will take on the basic load. Next, the entrance group is mounted, after which ordinary posts are installed with an interval of approximately 2.5 m.
  • Net tension. To do this, you need to weld hooks to the posts to hold the fence. Next, you need to take a roll and attach it to the first corner post. The net is hung gradually by pushing the reinforcement through the cells. The reinforcement is also fixed in the lower part by welding.

The last stage of work consists in bending the wire of the protruding edges and hooks.

Turnkey mesh fence service: main advantages

Today, many companies offer installation of a fence made of chain-link mesh in a turnkey format. Thus, the final cost of the service already includes material and installation work. A chain-link fence can be tensioned or have the appearance of a sectional fence, which will determine the cost of the service. In addition, the following factors also affect the price:

  • the size of the area to be fenced;
  • the quality of the soil and landscape features of the site;
  • the quality and quantity of materials to be used;
  • the remoteness of the object and the timing of the work.

A turnkey service is an opportunity to receive a finished object that can be immediately operated.
